Creative Flash

Digital flash photography can be frustrating for even experienced photographers. In this class you’ll learn how to achieve more consistent exposures plus techniques for bringing new creativity to your images.

  • Different types of flashes and their features like TTL and high-speed sync
  • Using flash exposure compensation
  • Main vs fill flash and when to use them
  • Utilizing bounce flash
  • Using flash in daytime as well as low-light situations

  • Session 1 – Evening from 6-8pm EST (classroom)
  • Session 2 – Weekend hands-on from 10am-1pm EST (offsite location TBD)

Equipment Needed
A digital or film camera with interchangeable lenses and full manual controls (SLR or Mirrorless) plus an external flash that attaches to the hot-shoe.
